K-FLEX Elastomeric Foam Insulation & Acoustic Materials
AIS is the Australian distributor of K-FLEX materials manufactured by L’ISOLANTE K-FLEX of Italy.
The service we provide is based on the standard elastomeric foam thermal pipe and sheet insulation materials, and the flexible foam and composite acoustic materials.
Thermal Insulation
The flexibility, compression resistance, low thermal conductivity and closed cell structure of K-FLEX makes it an ideal thermal insulation for cold and moderately hot applications in HVAC and industrial construction projects. It has a very low flame response and is sufficiently robust to deal with the toughest installation conditions. The service temperature range is -200°C to + 116°C (for applications at lower than -50°C please seek further technical advice).

Acoustic Insulation
Flexible acoustic grade foam insulation materials are provided as sound absorbers or as sound insulation barriers when used in conjunction with loaded membranes for the construction sector, appliance manufacture, marine and transport and for treatment of mobile and fixed plant and equipment.
