AIS began in May 1995 with the aim of being a customer focused and responsive supplier of quality industrial stonewool (rockwool) insulation. Technical competence, top quality products and being responsive to customers needs were seen as very important. A key requirement was, and still remains, the ability to supply product on time in an environment of fast track project engineering and short supply lead times.
Since commencing operations AIS has developed a very close relationship with the Rockwool International Group and a sound reputation for technical knowledge and competence. AIS has a track record of on-time supply of technologically advanced stonewool to most of Australia’s largest resource projects.
Since commencing AIS has developed expertise in a range of insulation-related activities including, manufacture of prefabricated components, insulation foams, cutting and converting and supply of cladding materials, industrial insulation hardware, home insulation and acoustic ceiling systems.
